Psalm 32:1(NCV) Happy is the person whose sins are forgiven, whose wrongs are pardoned.
Psalm 32:5 ESV I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
“Nobody has to tell you what the worst things you’ve done are. They burn in your heart, destroying your joy-always condemning you and tainting the good things you do. Just when you really feel loved by God, an awful thought destroys your peace. How can God accept me when I’ve been so wayward Friend , when God forgives you, He does so completely. He makes you absolutely clean. You never have to remember those sins again. He certainly doesn’t. So confess your sins once and for all, and whenever thoughts of your past plague you, think about God’s perfect forgiveness. Rejoice that when He looks at you , He sees a person He truly loves. Prayer: God, I praise You for not holding my past against me. I rejoice that You forgave me. Thank You for loving me and making me new. Amen.” Written by Bethany House Publishing “Moments of Peace in the Presence of God”
