We are unique

Michelle Garnett Leave a Comment

I am excited about this blog...I have never even been on one before but I know with a lot of God's help....this can be rewarding in many ways... We all have a manner of walking with God that is our own special way...no two walk alike...and when we try to walk or be like someone else...many times we find problems arising...we are individual and unique...we strive to be the best we can be...and we have others who are role models to look up to... But when we want to copy and be "perfect" like we think they are...lol...then we have problems...for God has taken the clay and made me Michelle Garnett...no one else is like me....and I am glad many a day for I am way far from perfect! Share and share alike here...and watch the growth … [Read more...]

God’s Power, Presence and Peace

Susan 1 Comment

Psalm 29:11  (TLB) He will give His people the strength . He will bless them with peace. Psalm  27:1  (NCV) The Lord is my light and the one who saves me. I fear no one. This requires spiritual discipline and fortitiude. The … [Read more...]

Trusting is the central strand, because it is the response from My children that I desire the most. Waiting and hoping embellish the central strand and strengthen the chain that connects you to Me. Waiting for Me to work, with your eyes on Me, is evidence that you really do trust Me. Because you are Mine, you don't just pass time in your waiting. You can wait expectantly, in hopeful trust. Keep your "antennae" out to pick up even the faintest glimmer of My Presence.       Sarah Young  "Jesus Calling" … [Read more...]

Seasons

Designer 1 Comment

"Sometimes God requires us to follow a fair amount of repetition for a considerable amount of time until He deems a season complete." -Beth Moore      I find that on this journey of my Christian walk, I tend to try to hurry things along that are not meant to be hurried. I know the Lord's will is the way, and that all things are done in His perfect timing. Whenever I try to hurry things it only causes me unnecesary frustration and I expend needless energy. I aim to patiently await His timing and His will, as this is the only path I choose to travel.
