God’s Power, Presence and Peace

Susan 1 Comment

Psalm 29:11  (TLB) He will give His people the strength . He will bless them with peace.

Psalm  27:1  (NCV) The Lord is my light and the one who saves me. I fear no one. The Lord protects my life; I am afraid of no one.

Consider all the moments you have when you sense God’s power, presence , and peace –moments when the clouds part and a sudden, all-prevailing sense of peace washes over you. You know then that you are truly loved by Almighty God, and you are filled with gratitiude and a new sense of security. It is as if you have suddenly discovered who you really are, and you feel more alive than ever. These moments become more frequent if you  cultivate quality time with God. This requires spiritual discipline and fortitiude. The rewards are boundless and will immeasurably enrich your life. Daily prayer, Scripture reading , and meditation on God’s attributes will deepen your understanding and make you a ready receptacle for His grace.   ” Moments of Peace in the Presence of God” by Bethany House Publishing

Prayer:  God, I don’t want to wait until I get to heaven to enjoy Your power, Your presence, and Your peace. Help me receive all that you have for me each day. Amen

God does indeed give each of us the ability to have a perfect peace in our walk with Him…when we walk away…or out of His will…that peace is not felt…
We have to be in tune with Him to have this daily peace active in our heart and our mind….talking with Him throughout your day…not just in prayer time…but all day…allows you to hear His voice and know His will…
Without that closeness…no peace is truly found.
