If you , O Lord, kept a record of sins…who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness. Psalm 130:3-4 I messed up. Again. I sat on the back deck thinking about what a failure I’d been. What must God think of me? I was writing in my journal as I had been every day. Lately, I felt God has been impressing on me to only write good things– compliments people gave me, ways He used me, blessings in my life. I didn’t know why He wanted me to do this, but I felt compelled to do it. But on this morning I sat and stared at the blank page. I began to write about my mistake. A Complete Forgiveness
Psalm 32:1(NCV) Happy is the person whose sins are forgiven, whose wrongs are pardoned. Psalm 32:5 ESV I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. The Forgiving Heart
"Someone once said that forgiveness is not for the forgiven, but for the sake of the forgiver. Forgiving those who have wronged you brings a deeper understanding of the character of God. Forgiveness is the cornerstone of relationship with Him. When you hold a grudge, you keep God at a distance. When you let it go, you are restored to Him instantly and inner peace returns. He forgets there was ever a rift between you. If you are struggling tonight, you can release your right to be angry and release the desire to pass sentence on the one who hurt you, for no one is beyond God's forgiveness. That's the wonder of His mercy. Follow His example and erase the record of wrong's. It takes courage, but it will free you to experience amazing joy." … [Read more...]

Have you been “burned” by people? You’re not alone, we all have. But instead of being consumed by it, God tells you to forgive it and let it go. When you deny your feelings and stew under the surface, you give the Devil the advantage over you (See 2 Corinthians 2:11). But by dealing scripturally with the situation your painful experiences can make you … [Read more...]
