Every believer goes through periods of dryness in his or her spiritual life- times of confusion when it is difficult to hear God or perceive that He is still leading. You may even feel that you have stopped growing spiritually. These times should not wither your trust in Him. Rather, they should nourish your hopeful expectancy in the hearty fruitfulness to come. For God will surely comfort you and turn all your deserts into havens of beauty and grace. Dear God, Thank you for comforting me during these dry, confusing times.
