We all struggle with negative emotions, but know that God has freedom, healing and restoration for you. This is a new day, a new beginning, for He is a God of redemption. We are all on a journey from bondage to freedom, from brokenness to wholeness, from failure to true success. Put God first in everything you do. Say, “Lord, I will serve you, not my emotions.” Fortify yourself with the word of God. We need all the nourishment, and healing of God’s word we can get. Pray about everything. Don’t entertain negative emotions as if they are old friends who have arrived as house guests. They don’t have to be a part of your life anymore.
Lord, today I refuse all depression, anxiety, fear, dread, anger and sadness. I know they are not from you. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I resist the temptation to see the bad in life. May Your joy rise in my heart so fully that it crowds out all that is not of you.
This I pray in Jesus name.

I refuse to live in the land of yesterdays…the land of condemnation…of feeling unworthy of anything God has in store for me…I refuse to live by emotions and be downtrodden all the time…I make a statement of faith…I WILL make it thru each and every day of my life with Jesus as my Lord and Guide…for my Shepherd knows what is best for me….and I will walk with FAITH!

Michelle, it is so true that we must resist to be dragged down or deterred by emotions. We must rest in His Strength, His Power, and do His will (not ours). We as Christians face and encounter many challenges. It is only when we are still, and hear His whisper in our ear, and wait and rest in His presence and His word, that we find peace. This world is chaotic, and noisy, and when we pull away from that, and are just “still”, we can replenish and be restored through our Lord! I pray you are “invaded” by His peace!
