“Life’s journey is fraught with unexpected twists and turns, and the risk of stumbling is high. No doubt the psalmist knew this, but he had the boldness to pen words that comfort you centuries later. When God holds you by the hand, a stumble doesn’t result in a fall. With His supporting arm, you catch your footing and continue surefooted along the trail. Thank You, God, for my roots that sink deep into your promises. Keep me building always on rock, never on sand. Make me secure as I surrender to you. Amen” “Moments of Peace in the Presence of God” Bethany House Publishing
Psalm 37: 23-24 NCV When a person’s steps follow the Lord, God is pleased with his ways. If he stumbles, he will not fall, because the Lord holds his hand.
Psalm 18:35-36 KJV Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet do not slip.

Like a tree I am planted by the water….sustanance comes from the Living Water…I shall not thirst…I shall not die…for I am rooted in Him…and nothing that comes my way shall make me stray…if I but keep my eyes on Him! Thank you Lord for your mercies and grace…for I am truly unworthy…but you make me worthy by Your blood…amen.
